New York, July 30, 2008 – Greenhill & Co., Inc. (NYSE: GHL), a leading independent investment bank, announced today that Richard C. Jacobsen, Jr. will join the Firm as a Managing Director. Mr. Jacobsen, who has served as Managing Director and Head of Health Care Services Investment Banking at Citigroup, will be based in San Francisco and will focus on the Health Care Services sector at Greenhill.
Mr. Jacobsen, 47, has spent 17 years covering health care companies as an investment banker at Citigroup (and its predecessors), with a primary focus on the health care services segment.
