Phillip Meyer-Horn To Join Greenhill As A Managing Director In Frankfurt

NEW YORK, May 2, 2006 – Greenhill & Co., Inc. (NYSE: GHL), a leading independent investment bank, announced today that Philip Meyer-Horn will join the Firm as a Managing Director based in Frankfurt. Mr. Meyer-Horn, an experienced investment banker who, before joining Greenhill, headed the German corporate finance activities for BNP Paribas, will focus on expanding Greenhill`s advisory activities in Germany.

Mr. Meyer-Horn, 40, began his career at Baring Brothers, where he worked with the individuals who later founded Greenhill`s London office. He later spent 4 years at Lazard before moving to BNP Paribas. Mr. Meyer-Horn studied at the European Business School, London.
