Ryan Carey
Managing Director
Mr. Carey joined Greenhill in 2021. He principally advises clients on Primary Fund Placement, along with direct equity and co-investment syndication.
Prior to joining Greenhill, Ryan was a senior member of the Jefferies Private Capital team, where he was responsible for managing relationships with public pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, endowments, fund of funds and diversified institutional investors throughout the US. Prior to Jefferies, Ryan was a Director with Sixpoint Partners, a boutique specialist in the private capital advisory space. Prior to Sixpoint, Ryan was a Vice President at HSBC where he led the syndication of U.S. Private Placements for the bank. Ryan began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he was a member of the firm's Debt Capital Markets group.
Ryan holds a BS in Finance from Lehigh University.
