John Matthew Antel

Mr. Antel joined Greenhill in 2022. He principally focuses on advising a wide range of clients (both U.S. and multinational) in the renewable energy / energy transition space – as well as the broader infrastructure and midstream energy sectors – with a particular focus on LNG, renewable fuels, petrochemicals, circular economy, sustainable chemicals & agriculture, crude gathering & transportation and natural gas gathering and processing.
Prior to joining Greenhill, John spent 9 years in the Energy and Mergers & Acquisitions investment banking groups at Jefferies and Bank of America Merrill Lynch working across M&A, public and private capital raising transactions and special committee / fairness opinion advisory. Prior to his career in investment banking, John spent nine years in the U.S. Navy as an F/A-18 strike-fighter pilot.
John holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy.
