Mr. Schmitz joined Greenhill in 2012. He principally advises clients on financing advisory, restructuring and other strategic transactions.
Prior to joining Greenhill, Jochen worked in the Energy & Power group of WestLB New York and the Merchant Banking group of FCF in Europe and the Middle East. Jochen also worked in the strategy group of Levi Strauss in Hong Kong.
Jochen holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in conjunction with Columbia Business School and a BSc in International Business from Maastricht University.
