KEN ANDERSON TO JOIN GREENHILL AS A SENIOR ADVISOR

New York, New York, August 6, 2014  – Greenhill & Co., Inc., (NYSE: GHL), a leading independent investment bank, announced today that Ken Anderson will join the firm as a Senior Advisor based in London.

Ken has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry with roles ranging from the owner of a successful US based outpatient therapy business to serving with the UK

Government. Until 2007, Ken was the first Commercial Director General of the United Kingdom’s Department of Health and National Health Service. As Director General, Ken was tasked with initiating the much needed privatization based NHS reforms.

In 2007, Ken joined UBS Investment Bank as a Managing Director, responsible for the global government business, as well as having responsibility for developing the bank’s relationships with larger healthcare, pharmaceutical and bio tech companies. Government clients have included Sweden, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Holland and the United States. In 2011, Ken was appointed a Vice Chairman of UBS Investment Bank.

Ken is also a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London Business School and sits on the board of Texas A&M Universities Biotechnology Commercialization Company.
